In-Home Dog Behavioral Programs
No matter the breed, size or history;
All dogs can be good dogs and we love to prove it!
Fear/Anxiety: Dogs often develop fear and anxiety from situations created by humans or reactions by humans to difficult situations. Anxiety and fear are unnatural in the dog world and in all cases, can be fixed! Even a rescue dog from the worst of situations can change today! An anxious or fearful dog will often exhibit behavior issues like seperation anxiety, shyness, regressive behavior (potty training etc.), bad dog park/social behavior and leash aggression. Fear and anxiety is the hardest problem to help a dog overcome. We are up to the challenge. Through trust building exercises and leadership, we can take your dog through a new set of experiences to rebuild a sense of strength and confidence. We will also help your dog relearn how to deal with old triggers in a relaxed and composed state of mind!
Hyperactivity: Hyperactivity can come from a variety of sources. Most often a lack of exercise, rules, boundaries and limitations creates a neurotic dog with underdeveloped social skills and hyperactive tendencies. Mouthing, digging, chewing, bad door behavior, not coming when called and a general lack of obedience is common with hyperactive dogs. Through leadership, consistency and discipline, we will show you how to turn your dog into a good soldier! (without breaking the fun spirit of course) Squashing hyperactivity yields amazing benefits. Improving mindfulness and obedience will enable your dog to have many more privileges and opportunities than ever before!
Aggression: Whether your dog is just starting to show signs or has accomplished an attack on another dog or human. Today your dog can change. Dogs displaying aggression and dominance are often unsure of the role they are being asked to play in their human family. Dog-dog aggression and dog-human aggression often result as the dog defaults to protection, possessiveness, food aggression, territorial behavior and dominance. This program is designed to reestablish trust and leadership with an emphasis on learning and understanding what our dogs are telling us. By the end of the program we will be creating scenarios that bring out the worst in your dogs behavior and overcoming those behavioral obstacles.
