Saturday Sept 10, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m Woofstock 2011 is the annual Linden Hills Dog Festival. The 6th annual Woofstock will be held on September 10, 2011 from 10 AM to 3 PM!
With great Minnesota dog organization sponsors and exhibitors, Woofstock is a memorable event in the picturesque and historic Minneapolis neighborhood of Linden Hills.
The 7th Annual Linden Hills Woofstock is just around the corner! Saturday Sept. 10th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. so be there for some dog lover fun. This is the best canine/dog owner event of the year in Minneapolis!
Check out the warm-water dog washing and grooming station outside of Sebastian Joe's during the event and all proceeds from the dog grooming will go towards The Pet Project, an pet charity that enables dog owners who need financial assistance to provide their dogs with dog food, supplies, veterinary care and dog-friendly housing opportunities in Minneapolis.
Woofstock doubled its attendance from 2009 to 2010, so 2011 should give us a great event. Other great exhibitions will include an Agility Demo, small dog play groups, dog-trick and obedience shows, as well as an open dog trick contest for any dogs who attend! For the second straight year there will be dog-yoga classes, a dog/owner picture booth, and a reading tent where kids can cosy up with a certified therapy dog and a book.
Upon arrival, be sure to get your scavenger hunt form. As you roam the event, be on the lookout for "Golden Bones." Collect the words on the bones until you complete the secret sentence, and then enter to win spectacular prizes.
The event coordinators only ask that you bring well-mannered dogs, on leashes less than six feet in length, and supplies to pick up after your pooch.
